[AfrICANN-discuss] Statement by the Internet technical and academic community on the CSTD WG on improvements to the IGF

It is with great satisfaction that I read this information. At this stage it
should be noted that efforts were not in vain. Strategically speaking, I am
proposing that a strong emphasis placed on IGF national, sub regional and
regional levels, particularly in Africa. There is still much to discuss. For
example, the problem regarding cultural and linguistic diversity, the
question of root servers, security on the Net or the Net Security, the cloud
computing, cybersquatting ..... just to name a few. It is necessary that
African mobilize and deeply involved in discussions of IGF second phase
