Waoooooooo !!! This is what we have been waiting for.
Our continent is getting more and more connected and we are bringing more products and service to our communities.
Keeping all these things up, running and growing in a resource constraint environment is critical and we are facing new issues about Trust, Privacy, Compliance with Governance standards.
Thanks for those who made this happen.

Subject: [AfrICANN-discuss] Africa CERT
There was a successful workshop on cybersecurity in Kigali last week. The workshop was organized within the framework of the 2nd Africa/Asia Forum on Network Research & Engineering; Afrinic, Afnog , INET and Afren hosted the event, as part of their annual meetings.
The workshop participants came from many African countries and agreed on the formation of a regional CERT, as a response to capacity development on cybercriminality in Africa. Kindly find attached the recommendations of the workshop as relates to Africa CERT, yet another subset of the Af*. You may circulate the recommendation as a means of encouraging formation of national and sectoral CERTs and also contribute to this new initiative.
best regards
Pierre Dandjinou
