I am of the opinion that the real problem is the adhoc-ness nature of
the approach. apparently escapes confronting the real problem since so
many "side-issues" crop up that distract and suck everyone up - all
while the underlying, fundamental issues remain unsolved. Another way
of looking at it is to question, 'who would lose if the fundamental
problems were solved? Then again, maybe 'some problems are not meant
to be solved'...
