Dear All,

For those who are in San Juan, welcome and I hope you have a productive
meeting. A special welcome for the fellows who come for the first time to an
ICANN meeting. This will a busy week and do not hesitate to grab me or any
of the other region's representatives to help you cope. We will try to bring
some of them to the fellows meetings every afternnon from 4 to 5pm in the
Las Olas room.

I would like to encourage those who are not on the africann list to
subscribe so they can be part of that active and interesting list. (see end
of my message for subscribing).

Heartfelt thank yous to all who applied for fellowships (I took the liberty
of copying you all on this email) and I am sure your turn will come as we
move from region to region. Please stay with us by subscribing to the list
and participating and I remain available for all questions.

For those who are not with us in San Juan, this link:
http://sanjuan2007.icann.org/schedule?filter0=24&filter1=**ALL** shows you
what today, Sunday 24 June looked like. Governments are at work at the GAC,
and I am inviting some of our GAC representatives to tell you a little more
on what is happening this time.
The GNSO is working on topics that are of importance to all of us at this
meeting: WHOIS, new gTLDs and IDNs. I encourage again the long time
participants to send small reviews of what they are doing to the list so all
subscribers can participate with us to the San Juan meeting.
Two Tutorials took place today on IPv6 and Domain Tasting and for this last
one, presentations are online that you can download from the above link.

Do not forget to check tomorrow's page
http://sanjuan2007.icann.org/schedule?filter0=25&filter1=**ALL** and view
some of the webcasted events that include the public Forum, and the workshop
on protection of registrants. The SSAC meeting will be webcasted too.

For all of you, do not hesitate to conatct me if you need anything. I will
try updating you as we go, but I hope you all grab the list as usual and
share the information that is dearest to you.

Cheers,
anne-rachel
