Dear Mark,

It has been a while since I looked into the technical details of 
RPKI.  There are best practices which are similar to the ones for a 
certificate authority.  Some of them are to address potential failure 
modes.  There are also the security considerations, e.g. what is the 
risk of having the private key online.
