<p>I like what you say Noah. Thank you for spending the time to
gather these examples. I too truly want Co-Chairs with clue. This
should mean people who are actively involved on this list and in
the Industry and presumably involved with an LIR, that is,
appropriately qualified.<br>

<p>However, unless only two volunteers stand forwards to the
community and between themselves, decide who will serve a shorter
term and who will serve a longer term, then I think some sort of
voting process will be needed. Consensus appears to work when
there are people gathered together - assuming that the only people
in the gathering are there for the betterment of the PDWG
community.</p>
<p>I personally think simple voting is less subjective and less
prone to the influence of the loud. (e.g. IETF uses a gently "hum"
to show agreement). It may be the most sensible solution for a
"remote" meeting.<br>
