Frank, I would like to point out a few inconstancies in the CPM.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">After taking a look at the flowchart of the Policy Development
Principles <b><a href="https://www.afrinic.net/policy">https://www.afrinic.net/policy</a></b>, it is specified that the
author of a policy proposal must submit his policy draft to Liaison at </span><a href="mailto:policy-submission@afrinic.net" style="color:rgb(5,99,193)"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">policy-submission@afrinic.net</span></a><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">, whereas in the CPM the procedure is
quite different. According to <b>section 3.4 “<span style="color:rgb(117,117,117);background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial">Policy proposals are submitted to the Resource Policy

and the mailing list aren’t informed about the policy proposal until it is
reviewed by the Liaison, but in the <b>CPM section 3.4</b> <b><span style="color:rgb(117,117,117)">“Policy proposals are submitted to the Resource Policy

author. AFRINIC will provide administrative support and assist the author(s) in
drafting the proposal if requested. AFRINIC shall also provide relevant facts

that the Liaison interference can occur only after the policy proposal is
submitted by the author on the RPD list.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif;background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial">These inconsistencies should be addressed and
taken into consideration while updating the flowchart, especially that the PDP
is solely based on the CPM and that the
flowchart must not be any different from what is ruled from the CPM. Let me add
that the flowchart is just Afrinic’s interpretation of the CPM, which is used
to give more clarification about the PDP, and in this case this clarification
in itself is wrong.</span></p>
