Every mailing list is set up for a purpose, and the rpd was set up to serve as the AFRINIC community’s Resource Policy Discussion List. All these lists are for one community, and there is a Code of Conduct that guides the community forums.<br>

If discussions on the list do not align with the purpose, should the Co-Chairs not be expected to moderate and regulate the community? Is it disruptive to do what one is expected to do?<br>

 You are right about one thing, “Many people feel frustrated and under attack....”, however, the following utterances by you are grossly unguided, and indicative of malice against the elected co-chair(s) and/or one or two members of the community. Thus the
 need for moderations.<br>

I think the co-chairs are doing an excellent job at curbing disarray within the community.<br>
