Yes, there have been some mistakes made by co-chairs along the way and those mistakes were corrected through either the appellate processes within the PDP or through co-chairs’ own actions prior to an appeal becoming necessary.</div><div><br class=""></div><div>The purpose, mission, role of AfriNIC is to register unique delegations of number resources pursuant to polices set through a community consensus policy process. Further, it is the role of AfriNIC to facilitate and manage that policy development process.</div><div><br class=""></div><div>Whether or not this particular proposal can come to consensus, the process is working mostly as intended and the community is providing the appropriate feedback to the authors.
