Good day all,<br>

The total deployment of IPv6 calls for excitement in the region. But I<br>
think as we are thinking about ipv6 in the future, we should also be<br>
thinking about having an elaborate plan about resource ownership (?freehold<br>
property?). It will do the community a lot of good if the governing body<br>
can elaborate more on this policy so every stakeholder (LIRs, RIRs, IRs<br>
etc) can be well guided.<br>

The merry-go-round about this policy seems not to be ending. So I will want<br>
to suggest if we can set a timeline for the two exhaustion phases (let?s<br>
say 10years ). After this period the remaining available blocks can be kept<br>
as reserves and total deployment of ipv6 put in motion.<br>

Concerning the internet number resources I submit as follows:<br>
<br>
1. There should be a documented and laid down process in which the<br>
community should be fully aware of concerning reclaiming a resource(s).<br>
<br>
2. Organizations or owners of said resources should have the option of<br>
keeping their resources or returning it to AFRINIC.<br>
<br>
3. On a technical point of view I want to know, what is the implication of<br>
having a non-routed or redundant resource(s)?<br>
