<p class="x_MsoNormal">First of all, I would like to thank all those who work openly and underground for me to be reinstated in the RPD mailing list. For the sake of the record, I would like to set it straight by placing you in the context that led to my “BLOCK”,
that is “Marcus Adomey’s posts to the RPD list will be moderated for two weeks”.</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">On July 7, 2017 Mr. Andrew Alston in the opening statement of his usual long email, he stated “I decided to post this, because I am getting more and more confused by this community every day.” I responded this way: “If you are confused
with the stand of the community, it means that you are out of the community orbit. This community seems to know what matters and folks they can follow”. On the same day, Sander jumped in with the following response to me: “Sorry, but following folks blindly
while some of them don't seem willing to give full transparency seems closer to the behaviour of sheep than to that of a healthy community...”</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">This is insulting to me and to the community we belong to. When I objected to Sander being part of the appeal committee emanating from our community that he has insulted, I did not see it as breach of our code of conduct. Although the
CEO has removed the “BLOCK” and I thank him for that, he has proved to me that at times, the victim can be treated as the culprit.</p>

It has been brought to my attention that I misinterpreted the words “He is not welcome”. I understood those words as a statement that somebody was not welcome to participate in the RPD list, but others understood them to refer to participation in the Appeal
Committee.<br>
<br>
I am therefore removing the moderation status aginst Marcus Adomey.<br>
<br>
I fully agree with all the comments about the need for enforcement of the Code of Conduct to be fair. There have been many messages which, in my opinion, violate the code of conduct, but no action has been taken. I took action in this case because I believed
it to be more serious than other cases, but I was wrong to see it as more serious than other cases (as I explained above, I misinterpreted “He is not welcome”).<br>

The PDWG co-chairs have agreed to enforce the code of conduct in future.<br>
