– and if it can’t be had by suing the person making the allegations – it could well be had by suing AFRINIC who chose to ACT on those implications and thereby further the allegations.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-US">Let’s put an end to this policy – it serves no real purpose other than to create immense legal risk for AfriNIC and put the organisation into harm’s
way – and unlike other policies where legal risk has been floated yet never substantiated – this risk is been clearly and definitively articulated. Any further pursuit of this policy by the authors in it’s current form in my view would demonstrate a disregard
for the best interests of AfriNIC has a company and all of its members.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I feel the community we are are really forgetting the impact the legal implications will have and even for the staff. We need to be cautious. Afrinic should not and unless the proof is verifiable this policy even passes causes more issues
for the organisation. Unless we want to close afrinic tomorrow. I wish the best of luck if the community feels this is a solution to the issues that the most compelling small user does. Most of us know not only small ones and even some academic universities
does. We know they do who is going to gather the proof. I do not recall afrinic is a police here. If you report anonymously then bring the proof even on that it is not viable still for afrinic.<o:p></o:p></p>
