The "unity" makes it a good time to dispassionately consider these options. I look forward to Ornella's response and thank her and co-authors for starting the discussion with their proposal.</div><div class="gmail_extra"><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">I am ambivalent on the Chairs model we use as long as it works well for the community and the volunteers. Maybe even have more than 2 co-chairs if necessary to reduce workload but we must empower these roles with clearly defined guidelines. </div><div class="gmail_extra"><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">There have also been disagreements on the way consensus is read in AfriNIC as well as issues with process and interpretation. Ideally, we should not have legal issues raised after last call and the recent minutes of the PPM reflect the state of our PDP in my opinion.
