How irrational is me wondering about [1] below...

[1] nomcom2015 mailing list breached/exploited + the hole had always existed but was fixed on that day + we have information that there is a dump of nomcom2015 circulating in the community (who is circulating it) + that could undermine ongoing elections + but our investigation indicate a configuration error that could enable anyone to exploit or breach the mailing list + we know who the individuals are + but we will not press charges..

So thank you...

> The misconfiguration was the hole which was indeed exploited. The dump of the archive was known to be circulating in the community, though the extent of circulation was not known.

Look, nomcoms mandate is clear and their recommendations/decisions accompanied by the decisions of the board is final ref: AfriNIC elections and all.

So whatever the contents of nomcoms mailing list....My curiosity is how the supposedly circulated dumps could have affected the ongoing election???

Lets not take things lightly no matter how they seem.
