[rpd] AFRINIC-38 Public Policy Meeting-Cape Town, South Africa, 18 November 2026

Hello Jordi,

A second ppm needed to be held in 2026. Normally these dates are known much
earlier than this but as you are aware, AFRINIC is just resuming fully
hence I think you would understand the challenge.

It will not be good service to the PDWG to move a meeting that ought to
hold in 2026 to 2027 because of an IETF meeting that is holding in the USA
which majority of AFRINIC attendee may not be able to attend physically due
to many factors including visa.

December is usually a short month so not an option. I think the board has
taken the best feasible option which I am sure even the IETF would
understand.
