[rpd] Call for Action: - Resource Transfer Policy

hi,

I find no reasonable reasons to hold the process as long as it reached
consensus. In the case referenced, apparently there was an attempt to stop
this policy via courts and it failed, delays or return of the policy will
be misunderstood.

No matter how other RIR policies have evolved, policy remains a policy and
consensus remains consensus; it is like outdating the 10
commandments because they are very old or the society has evolved.

As long as the Policies don't break any rule of law, or go against any law,
what are we cautious about?

A community can create any process and policy as long as it doesn't go
against any law.

   - Consensus - Announced on 14/01/2022 | Ratification Report sent to the
Board by PDWG Chairs - 14/01/2022

One such proposal is the Resource Transfer Policy - linked below.

https://afrinic.net/policy/proposals/2020-gen-006-d3

Draft 3 of the proposal obtained and reached consensus after years of
discussion by the Internet Community.

The co-chairs sent draft 3 of the propos to the board for ratification. The
Courts did not grant the Injunction.

There was a case by Cloud Innovation Limited against the proposal in form
of an Injunction.

Case number 5
2021 Jun 25 Cloud Innovation Ltd vs AFRINIC
SC/COM/MOT/000382/2021 Application for injunction – ref Resource Transfer
Policy
(Not granted)

The policy is pending immediate ratification.
