[rpd] AFRINIC-35 PPM 1-2 June 2022 - an update from the PDWG Chairs.

Dear AFRINIC PDWG,

The upcoming AFRINIC-35 Public Policy Meeting(PPM) happening in hybrid mode on 1-2 June 2022 refers. No new proposals were received as of 4 May 2022. The author of the policy proposals IPv4 Inter-RIR Resource Transfers (Comprehensive Scope) and Publication of Information has reached out to us and indicated that the proposals will neither be updated for the purpose of this PPM nor presented during the PPM. 

The author of the proposal Abuse Contact Policy Update (AFPUB-2018-GEN-001-DRAFT07)  has also submitted the same proposal again on 15 May 2022  as the version 7 which reached consensus but is currently under appeal  expires  on 17 May 2022.

The final agenda is now being prepared and will be shared with the PDWG on 26 May 2022.

We encourage the PDWG to go through these proposals and discuss them on the RPD mailing list using the following guidelines:-
You mention the identifier of the proposal and/or the title in the subject of your emails to the list.
Are the problem statement and the solution clear to you? 
Does the proposal solve a problem that you are experiencing? If yes, you can reach out to the community and share your situation.
Are you in support of the proposal? If yes, why?
Do you oppose the proposal? If yes, please state clearly the objective reasons.
Can the proposal be enhanced by either removing ambiguous text or reinforcing the solutions?

Cher PDWG d’AFRINIC,

La prochaine Réunion de Politique Publique (PPM) d'AFRINIC-35 qui se déroulera en mode hybride les 1-2 juin 2022 fait référence. Aucune nouvelle proposition n'a été reçue à la date du 4 mai 2022. L'auteur des propositions de politique IPv4 Inter-RIR Resource Transfers (Comprehensive Scope) et Publication of Information nous a contactés et a indiqué que les propositions ne seront ni mises à jour pour les besoins de cette PPM ni présentées pendant la PPM.

L'auteur de la proposition Abuse Contact Policy Update (AFPUB-2018-GEN-001-DRAFT07) a également soumis la même proposition à nouveau le 15 mai 2022, car la version 7 qui a fait l'objet d'un consensus mais qui est actuellement en appel expire le 17 mai 2022.

Le programme final est en cours de préparation et sera partagé avec le PDWG le 26 mai 2022.

Nous encourageons le PDWG à examiner ces propositions et à en discuter sur la liste de diffusion de la RPD en suivant les directives suivantes:

Vous mentionnez l'identifiant de la proposition et/ou le titre dans l'objet de vos courriels à la liste.
L'énoncé du problème et la solution sont-ils clairs pour vous ?
La proposition résout-elle un problème que vous rencontrez ? Si oui, vous pouvez vous adresser à la communauté et partager votre situation.
Êtes-vous favorable à la proposition ? Si oui, pourquoi ?
Vous opposez-vous à la proposition ? Si oui, veuillez en indiquer clairement les raisons objectives.
La proposition peut-elle être améliorée en supprimant les textes ambigus ou en renforçant les solutions ?

Caro PDWG AFRINIC,

A próxima reunião de política pública AFRINIC-35 (PPM), a decorrer em modo híbrido em 1-2 de Junho de 2022, refere-se. Não foram recebidas novas propostas a partir de 4 de Maio de 2022. O autor das propostas de políticas IPv4 Inter-RIR Resource Transfers (Comprehensive Scope) e Publication of Information chegou até nós e indicou que as propostas não serão actualizadas para efeitos deste PPM nem apresentadas durante o PPM.

O autor da proposta "Abuse Contact Policy Update" (AFPUB-2018-GEN-001-DRAFT07) também apresentou novamente a mesma proposta em 15 de Maio de 2022 que a versão 7 que chegou a consenso mas que está actualmente a ser objecto de recurso expira em 17 de Maio de 2022.

A agenda final está agora a ser preparada e será partilhada com o PDWG a 26 de Maio de 2022.
