[rpd] RPKI ROAs for Unallocated and Unassigned AFRINIC Address Space AFPUB-2019-GEN-006-DRAFT02

Elvis,

AFRINIC publishes information about registrations.

It does this in whois.
It does this in ROAs.

These happen today.

What difference is there in AFRINICs role if in addition to the ROAs they already publish on behalf of AFRINIC subscribers, they also publish AS0 ROAs for space that has no current registrant and is in the AFRINIC free pool?

If you cannot answer that direct question, I think your objection is addressed and is without merit.

If such rights are given to any organization, they have the right to assign prefixes to servers hence, having control of the routing database at which a technical or human error will lead to an immense catastrophe to the internet society. This control is basically the specific definition of centralization. This centralization is the major reason why most providers do not trust the Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI). I am still in opposition to this policy proposal.
