OIF has been extensively discussed and it’s role has been previously clarified in archives.

Larus Foundation is however very unclear and its practices are being questioned. That is what to address.

Larus Foundation is associated with a resource member Cloud Innovation Limited whose network is unknown in Africa.

Cloud innovation joined later, after the first decade of Afrinic existence, and was noted for threats of court action against Afrinic during PDP discussions.

That Larus signed contracts with fellows intended to control their behavior while at Afrinic meeting. Fellows were provided a policy briefing document with commentary ie opinions. Larus followed a corrupting scheme of rewards for performance ie bribing fellows with a stipend of upto USD500 (pay for mic time). All these are contrary to the spirit of our trusting PDP.

Larus officials should not hide behind paid consultants and fellows to explain their practices. Paid consultants and fellowship beneficiaries should not attempt to smear an intergovernmental Organisation that is no different from the Commonwealth of Nations or other.

Regards
