Hopefully we can now eliminate the silly debate about the need for language in transfer proposals related to starting when this happens?

> Dear colleagues,

>

> Phase 2 of IPv4 Exhaustion has officially begun. This is as a consequence of the decreasing IPv4 resource pool available to AFRINIC.

>

> AFRINIC will proceed with necessary changes to its systems to limit the size of IPv4 resource requests which can be submitted.

>

> In addition, all currently opened IPv4 resource requests bigger than /22 will be scaled down to a /22 and the applicants will be informed in their corresponding tickets.

>

> AFRINIC encourages its members to accelerate the deployment of IPv6 on their networks.

>

> Chers collègues,

>

>

>

>

> Caros colegas,

>
