And I have attempted to do that – if you read that proposal it says *MAY* engage on the list – I have reached out to both of the PDP co-chairs in private asking for a discussion point – I also informed one of the co-chairs on intention to appeal – and got a one line response of “good luck”
There is no obligation in that process to engage with the co-chairs on this list – though I am happy to do to so.
My only question for the co-chairs are a.) will you withdraw that decision and b.) on what grounds was the policy passed considering the sustained objections going back more than 2 years that were never resolved

Let me reimind you of the process. Before you appeal, you must discuss the matter with the PDWG Chair(s) or with the PDWG. This is specified in section 3.5(a) of the Consolidated Policy Manual <https://afrinic.net/en/community/policy-development/2195-consolidated-policy-manual-v11<https://afrinic.net/en/community/policy-development/2195-consolidated-policy-manual-v11>>, which I quote below:
3.5(a) A person who disagrees with the actions taken by the Chair(s) shall discuss the matter with the PDWG Chair(s) or with the PDWG. If the disagreement cannot be resolved in this way, the person may file an appeal with an Appeal Committee appointed by the AFRINIC Board of Directors. An appeal can only be filed if it is supported by three (3) persons from the Working Group who have participated in the discussions.
