Speaking purely for myself,
Can I appeal to people to keep non policy discussions on the community discuss list and policy issues here to avoid distraction from the real issues at hand. Let's focus on the policies and come to decisions around those that are found through robust debate on the issues and a focus on the actual policies.
Can the pdwg co-chairs please also assist in this regard?
Thanks
Andrew

We talk about our governments keeping the internet open, but how well has the board been open to its members and the community?
If i may, where do we stand with improving Afrinic's accountability?
What happened to the bottom up process and transparency?
Cheers,
Noah

Dear Chair,
I feel unhappy that, instead you appreciate member dissatisfaction, empasis, you instead resort into questioning him. This does not bring our community together ?
For exemple :
Best practise would be that the board consults membership/community before making statements like "keeping the Internet open" ....

Dear Arnaud,
Your statement - "the Board makes decisions unilaterally"
Kindly provide more information on the unilateral decisions taken by the Board, which are not within its purview.
Thanks and Regards ..
Sunday.

I am sad to see how AFRINIC is currently managed. There is no restraint, no consideration for the community, the Board makes decisions unilaterally, the CEO answers in the place of the authors of a policy, the staff that starts to produce policy, co-chairs that seem helplessTo manage the flow, an individual who takes hostage a whole community, when he talks everything is good, when we talk we are shown code-of-conduct.Oh ! Dear members of the community, I am really sad. This is an observation that engages only me I can deceive, if all goes for the best in the world to Afrinic then all my apologies.

The authors and PDWG chairs can speak for themselves. I was speaking as the CEO, attempting to correct some misconceptions.
