They still have a little and am not sure in case this was to go through if
AfriNIC and RIPE would want the currently allocated space in the Arab
region  to be given back. Maybe the main plan of those pushing for this is
to work on retaining what has already been allocated in those countries and
managing those address spaces under an Arabic RIR. Its a pointless proposal
IMHO.
