Andrew

I think the norm is you put together a draft policy, present it to the
community for input and direction and then if you feel comfortable that it
reflects your expectations you then submit the policy.

So i would suggest you draft something for people to start with.

regards

Subject: [AfriNIC-rpd] Rewrite of AFPUB-2011-v4-003-draft-02

Hi All,

As promised in my last email after I withdrew AFPUB-2011-v4-003-draft-02, I
am looking at rewriting and resubmitting the policy.

But before I do, there was a LOT of discussion and different views were
expressed at the meeting, from many different view points. So, What I'd
like to ask the community is this:

What do you want to see in this policy, lets debate this on the list and I
will word the policy in such a way that it reflects community spirit and
community intent. It's far easier to do this than to submit what are merely
my views in policy form, and then attempt to change it afterwards. I would
rather hear what the African community has to say and draft around that, and
then make minor changes.

So, I'd welcome any debate on this topic on the list to help me propose
something that everyone is happy with. Again, as stated at the meeting, if
you outright hate the idea as well, feel free to express that view, as that
is also helpful in understanding where to take this.

Thanks
