Dear All,

Regarding the "Policy Development Process" proposal by Vincent Ngundi, I've three minor comments on it :

First, in point (3) :

3. The proposed policy is then posted on the mailing list rpd at afrinic.net or any other appropriate mailing list. The mailing list is open to

anyone from the community at all times, and anyone can join the list for discussion

I suggest the posting to the mailing list to be done by the Moderator Group (MG)

Second, in point (7):

If there is consensus during the Last-Call, go to step 7 below.

I think you mean step 8 below.

Third, in point (8):

- Short summary of the Last-Call period.

I suggest to be: - Short summary of the Last-Call period discussion.

Otherwise, I support this proposal

Regards,

Haitham..

الموضوع: [AfriNIC-rpd] Summary of Policy Discussions

Dear all

There are currently four policies which are currently under discussions in
the AfriNIC region and which will be presented at the next AfriNIC meeting
in Durban.

1. IPv6 Address Allocation and Assignment Policy Proposal from Jordi Palet
Martinez
There has been no discussion regarding this policy proposal since AfriNIC6

2. Policy Proposal for IPv6 ULA-central from Jordi Palet Martinez
There has been no discussion regarding this policy proposal since AfriNIC6

3. Global Policy for the Allocation of the Remaining IPv4 Address Space from
Roque Gagliano , Francisco Obispo, Hytham EL Nakhal & Didier Allain Kla.
There has not been any discussion on this policy proposal

4. Policy Development Process Proposal
There has been no discussions since Vincent's second post of this proposed
policy.

If anyone of you have any comments with regards to these policies, we would
recommend that you do it as early as possible to allow the authors to
respond to them before the face to face meeting where the policies will be
presented.

Best Regards
Hisham R. Rojoa
