On this page, you will find the full proposal, the Chairs' Foreword summarising the proposal, instructions on how to provide feedback on the proposal, and a Public Comment Input Template. The comment period for this draft proposal is open until 20 May 2015.<br>

We would like to encourage anyone interested in the Names Community's proposal to read it and to provide feedback within the comment period.<br>
<br>
The CRISP team has started the work of conducting an analysis of the Names Community's proposal to identify any issues that may affect the Numbers Community. We hope to share this analysis with the community, once completed.<br>
<br>
As you are awre, the CRISP chairs have also contacted the chairs of the Names Community, requesting them to communicate any issues they identify in their proposal that might affect the Numbers Community, before the final submission to the ICG. (See the forwarded mail below.)<br>
<br>
We are scheduling a teleconference with the chairs of the Names Community to discuss this.<br>

> With this in mind, I would like to request that the Chairs of the CWG-Names communicate directly to the Chair and Vice-Chair of the CRISP team, regarding any proposals or developments that might affect the numbers community in advance, and not wait for the final submission to the ICG.<br>

> This level of direct communication and collaboration will allow all communities to consider the impact and potential compatibility issues among the proposals ahead of the ICG consolidation process, consult appropriately within their communities, and, if necessary, develop appropriate responses efficiently, rather than wait for inputs from the numbers community after the ICG consolidates proposal from all the operational communities. Such bottom-up consideration by all communities will be essential to the authority and success of any final proposal to the NTIA.<br>
