Indeed letsencrypt is making it possible for people to get free SSL
certificates. However, there is a cost associated with setting up the
proper infrastructure. My point in my blog post was to show an
interesting use case for DNSSEC: validating the ACME
challenge/response process. Indeed, DNSSEC is probably one of the most
secure way to achieve it, as it crytographically validates the
response, in my humble opinion.
