The AFRINIC Governance Committee is a standing committee whose purpose <br>

NomCom is hereby calling for nominations from the community for one <br>
Governance Committee position up for election, to serve a three-year <br>
term from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2023. The seat is currently held <br>
by Mr. Abdalla Omari.<br>

NomCom would like to receive Nominations from all of the AFRINIC <br>
sub-regions and are explicitly looking for both Gender and Language <br>
diversity although a working understanding of the English language would <br>
be highly beneficial.<br>

Nomination Requirements:<br>

· GC members shall be resident in the AFRINIC service region.<br>
<br>
· None of the elected members may be an AFRINIC Director, or an AFRINIC <br>
employee.<br>

· A valid nomination must originate from or be submitted by an <br>
authorized and registered contact person of the nominating member <br>
organization. The nomination must also be seconded/endorsed by at least <br>
one additional AFRINIC member, different from the nominating member <br>
organization. Nominators and seconders/endorsers must all be AFRINIC <br>
members in good standing.<br>

· Self-nominations are permitted and must be endorsed by 2 distinct <br>
AFRINIC members in good standing.<br>

Appel à candidatures - Membres du Comité de gouvernance (CG) AFRINIC<br>

Le Comité de gouvernance AFRINIC est un comité permanent dont le but est <br>
de conseiller le Conseil d'administration, les membres de l'AFRINIC et <br>
la communauté sur les questions de gouvernance.<br>
<br>
Le NomCom lance un appel à candidatures à la communauté pour un poste au <br>
comité de gouvernance à pourvoir par élection, pour un mandat de trois <br>
ans allant du 1er janvier 2021 au 31 décembre 2023. Le siège est <br>
actuellement occupé par M. Abdalla Omari.<br>

Le NomCom souhaite recevoir des candidatures de toutes les sous-régions <br>
d'AFRINIC et recherche explicitement la diversité des genres et des <br>
langues, bien qu'une compréhension pratique de la langue anglaise serait <br>
très bénéfique.<br>

Exigences en matière de nomination :<br>

- Les membres du CA doivent résider dans la région de service AFRINIC.<br>

- Aucun des membres élus ne peut être un administrateur d’AFRINIC, ni un <br>

- Une candidature valide doit émaner ou être soumise par une personne de <br>
contact autorisée et enregistrée de l'organisation membre qui la <br>
propose. La candidature doit également être appuyée/approuvée par au <br>
moins un membre supplémentaire d'AFRINIC, différent de l'organisation <br>
membre qui a proposé la candidature. Les auteurs de la proposition et <br>
les personnes qui l'appuient ou l'approuvent doivent tous être des <br>
membres en règle de l'AFRINIC.<br>

- Les autonominations sont autorisées et doivent être approuvées par <br>
deux membres en règle de l'AFRINIC.<br>

nomeação. Os indicados e os segundos/endoscedentes devem ser todos <br>
membros AFRINIC em dia com suas obrigações.<br>
