AFRINIC staff about needing urgent updates on legacy space

board-routed management mode that will cause fatigue
and a perception of non-responsiveness. I'm sure the
Board hears our concerns and will hasten the process
of helping the CEO settle down into his new role.
Being volunteers as well, they would/should be happy
to have their AFRINIC management workload reduced
ASAP.

Perhaps the CEO needs to be given more leeway
and authority when communicating with the
community. I am sure the CEO can use his best
judgment to determine when any information
toward the public needs to go by the Board for

inordinate amount of operational matters via
the Board (including communication), fatigue
will set in and little progress will be made.<br
