Thanks for your response Chair, it's indeed a fact that the call for GC was made at Djibouti and its a good thing that the board has started acting on it after the second call/reminder in Tunis and I thank the board for that.

Based on the discussion on this topic so far, I think it would be best to avoid referencing the past especially when it does not positively help improve the present/future. Coincidentally both Badru and Sunday occupied the board leadership position in the last few years, so one could arguably say none of them is vindicated on this subject. ;-). However,I don't think it should only be about the Chair (or Vice-Chair) but rather about the entire board acting up and I must recognise that there is has been progress/improvements (with credits to the community as well, for not relenting in their effort to keep the board on her feet)

That said, all the board members should start thinking ahead of the community on issues by providing details that is known to be of global norm so the community won't have to be asking/directing the board. I also encourage all board members to make the work of their spokesperson (Chair) easier by doing the actual work as really, any accusation/challenge posed to the chair is actually to the entire board members; it's a responsibility for all and not just the leadership!

Hi Badru,

While not holding brief for Owen in this matter, It is important to set
the records straight:
The third, fourth and fifth paragraph under 4.1. are clear.
I still take responsibility for what I have promised to do, but please
do not try to rewrite documented history.
