Well, the discussion(s) of these alleged incidents have been splattered
out all over at least three different public mailing lists[1]... and at
least one private one that I can't even see (AFRINIC members list)...
so if you ask me if the evidence is sufficient to infer alleged fact XYZ,
then my answer is no, for the simple reason that I haven't even seen this
"evidence" that you are referring to.

Jordi, please post the URL(s) for the archived messages in question, or
the messages themselves, or if you don't feel comfiortable doing that,
then please email them to me directly & privately.

Your question amounts to: "If X then can't we reasonably infer Y?"

The problem is that I personally haven't even seen X yet in this case.

rfg

-----------
[1] It appears that these matters and these allegations are being discused
on the public ZANOG, AFNIC, and AFRINIC mailing lists. But it also seems
that if there is any actual evidence relating to the allegations that have
been made, it may perhaps have only been shared on the non-public AFRINIC
members mailing list.

Speaking of which, who decided that the archives for that list should not be
public?

I understand that it should only be members that are allowed to POST to that
mailing list, but why aren't we ordinary interested parties at least allowed
to READ what has been said on that mailing list?

Are you people who are on the (private) members list plotting in secret to
take over the world? :-)
