I agree.  It is certainly NOT something that I would have done.

I've been fighing against spammers for 20 years now.  It is always a bad idea
to spam people, regardless of whether it is done via phone, FAX, email, or
any other way.

All I am saying is that it is important to keep things in perspective.

As travesties go, this is one of the smaller ones that have come out of the
AFRINIC region in recent times.
