Dear Noah,
I totally agree with you. Though Lagos, Nigeria is not on lockdown, for
precautionary measures some government and private parastatals have shut
down.
The middle class has been forced to look to God for their monthly earnings
especially does who run micro-businesses or are employees to one-man
businesses.
In this vein, many are being cautious and restraint towards extra spending
on non-tangible things such as data.
However, we that are opportune to the importance of staying informed can be
active online and make sacrifices to purchase data for the greater good.
In conclusion, I believe the date of elections should remain open
tentatively as we watch and join the global health systems fight and win
this pandemic.
