Warm greetings.

Please find below the updates for the past month:

1.     Strategic Plan 2021-2023: We appreciate the feedback that you provided on the survey regarding the development of AFRINIC's next Strategic Plan. We have been intensively working on preparing the plan through different meetings, workshops, and interviews. We also had an online board retreat to reflect further on the key objectives and initiatives for our organisation. We will publish the final draft at the end of August and will discuss it during AIS20 before its adoption.

2.     AIS20: We are progressing well in our preparations for the first online AIS event in mid-September. The draft program is available at https://2020.internetsummit.africa/en/agenda/programme. We hope and wish to "see" you all at the event. There have been some questions about elections in the online setup. Moving forward with online elections is a positive step at this challenging time. I would like to applaud everyone who has given their time and feedback to this process.

3.     WHOIS Accuracy: The team is still working on the resource audit, and the Interim injunction case is still pending before the Mauritian Supreme Court. We are aiming to complete the Audit exercise by the end of this calendar year.

4.     Partnerships: We have signed 2 MOUs in the past month. A collaboration framework with ISOC related to Internet measurement and resilience and one with the Nigerian Communication Commission, which will focus on IPv6 deployment in Nigeria. We are eager to see the benefits that will accrue from these new partnerships.

Vous trouverez ci-dessous les mises à jour du mois dernier :

1.     Plan stratégique 2021-2023 : Nous apprécions les commentaires que vous avez fournis sur notre sondage concernant l'élaboration du prochain Plan stratégique de l'AFRINIC. Nous avons travaillé activement à la préparation de ce plan au cours de différentes réunions, ateliers et entretiens. Nous avons également organisé une retraite du conseil d'administration en ligne pour réfléchir davantage aux principaux objectifs et initiatives de notre organisation. Nous publierons le plan final à la fin du mois d'août et nous en discuterons pendant l'AIS20 avant son adoption.

2.     AIS20 : Nous progressons bien dans nos préparatifs pour le premier événement AIS en ligne à la mi-septembre. Le programme est disponible à l'adresse suivante : https://2020.internetsummit.africa/en/agenda/programme. Nous espérons et souhaitons vous "voir" tous à l'événement. Il y a eu quelques questions sur la tenue d’élections en ligne. Progresser avec des élections en lignes est un pas positif dans cette période de pandémie. J’aimerai remercier chaleureusement toute personnes qui a contribué de son temps et de ses idées pendant la procédure.

3.    Mise à jour sur l'exactitude du WHOIS : L'équipe poursuit son travail sur l'audit des ressources, et en ce qui concerne l’injonction provisoire, elle est toujours en cours aupres de la Court Supreme de Maurice. Nous avons pour objectif de terminer l'exercice d'audit d'ici la fin de l'année civile.

4.     Partenariats : Nous avons signé deux protocoles d'accord au cours du mois dernier. Un cadre de collaboration avec l'ISOC portant sur la mesure et à la résilience de l'Internet et un autre avec la Commission nigériane de la communication, qui se focalisera sur le déploiement d'IPv6 au Nigeria. Nous sommes impatients de voir les retombées de ces nouveaux partenariats.

1. الخطة الإستراتيجية 2021-2023: نحن نقدر التعليقات التي قدمتها على المسح فيما يتعلق بتطوير الخطة الإستراتيجية التالية لـ AFRINIC. لقد عملنا بشكل مكثف على إعداد الخطة من خلال اجتماعات وورش عمل ومقابلات مختلفة. لقد عقدنا أيضًا معتكفًا عبر الإنترنت لمجلس الإدارة للتفكير بشكل أكبر في الأهداف والمبادرات الرئيسية لمنظمتنا. سننشر المسودة النهائية في نهاية أغسطس وسنناقشها خلال AIS20 قبل اعتمادها.

Por favor, encontre abaixo as actualizações relativas ao mês passado:

1.     Plano Estratégico 2021-2023: Agradecemos o seu feedback sobre o inquérito relativo ao desenvolvimento do próximo Plano Estratégico da AFRINIC. Temos estado a trabalhar intensamente na preparação do plano através de diferentes reuniões, workshops e entrevistas. Tivemos também um retiro em linha para reflectir mais sobre os objectivos e iniciativas-chave para a nossa organização. Publicaremos o projecto final no final de Agosto e discuti-lo-emos durante o AIS20 antes da sua adopção.

2.     AIS20: Estamos a progredir bem nos nossos preparativos para o primeiro evento AIS em linha em meados de Setembro. O rascunho do programa está disponível em https://2020.internetsummit.africa/en/agenda/programme. Esperamos e desejamos "vê-los" a todos no evento.

3.     WHOIS Accuracy: A equipa ainda está a trabalhar na auditoria de recursos, e não existe até agora qualquer actualização relativamente ao caso da providência cautelar provisória. O nosso objectivo é completar o exercício de Auditoria até ao final deste ano civil.

4.     Parcerias: Assinámos 2 MOU no mês passado. Um quadro de colaboração com a ISOC relacionado com a medição e a resiliência da Internet e um com a Comissão de Comunicação da Nigéria, que se centrará na implantação do IPv6 na Nigéria. Estamos ansiosos por ver os benefícios que advirão destas novas parcerias.
