[Community-Discuss] BOD and Management of Conflict of Interest

Dear Members and Community,

It has been raised here and there that Conflict Of Interest shall be  well managed inside the board to avoid certain things.
The board meeting of February 2016 was dedicated to NOMCOM matters.
I'm surprised to see that the Chair did not check Conflict of Interest at the opening.
Surprisedly the minutes[under  http://www.afrinic.net/en/about/bod/meeting/2016/1699-minutes-20162402 ] do not tell how all the resolutions were passed at that meeting.
One could want to know who voted on and for what if the kind of transparency we are calling for is effective.
Some of the board members may be running for elections this year.
