I agree that we start by reviewing the work group charter, maybe we all go through and send in comments, then move on from there.

Subject: [afrinic-anti-spam-discuss] Fighting spams in our region

Hi All,

2007-2008, we started an initiative to work on spam issues in AFRINIC service region. A WG was created with the charter posted at https://lists.afrinic.net/pipermail/afrispam-wg/2007-October/000000.html

There has been a call for comment document draft by the WG. See https://lists.afrinic.net/pipermail/afrispam-wg/2008-September/000016.html

Things have gone to silence and inactive mode since. I think we should revive this work and definitely have an updated version of the document published here and possibly as informational RFC. What are your thoughts ?

- Review the WG charter ??

- Get new co-chairs ?

-get the work done by the African Internet Summit ?

FYI: i got only one response on my post on the WG mailing list since. https://lists.afrinic.net/pipermail/afrispam-wg/2013-February/date.html

Thanks

--Alain
