"Call for Presentations and Tutorials" period
is still open for the AfriNIC-12 Public Policy meeting to be held in
Kigali,
Dakar 23 May to 4 June 2010. <br>

This is your call to present at
this event and to join other presenters in delivering tools and
knowledge on
issues and ideas related to Internet Protocol and Number Resources
Management
to participants. <br>

before submitting your proposal. The presentation or tutorial proposals
must be
received no later than 5 March 2010 and sent to <a

<strong>Your proposal should contain the following information: </strong>
<ul>
<li> Full Name </li>
<li>Email Address </li>
<li>Affiliation </li>
<li>Short biography </li>
<li>Title of Talk </li>
<li>A detailed abstract or outline describing the presentation Draft
slides for the presentation (if ready/available) </li>
<li>Length of talk (minutes/hours/days) </li>
<li>Need (or not) for sponsorship or assistance to attend the meeting
(travel and/or ac commodation, etc) </li>
</ul>

Guidelines:<o:p></o:p>
<ul>
<li> Presentations may cover the following topics: IPv6 deployment,
Security, IDN, Mobile & IP, Anti-Spam</li>
<li> Presentations will be fifteen (15) to thirty (30) minutes in
length. </li>
<li>AfriNIC will provide the space, tea/lunch breaks and projector
equipment. </li>
<li>Presenters will be responsible for any handouts. Typically there
are approximately 100-150 delegates. </li>
<li>All
presentations will be delivered with the highest professionalism to
maximize the value obtained by the attendee. Any selling (perceived or
overt) during the session is deemed unprofessional and is not
acceptable. </li>
<li>Selection decisions will be made by the Meeting Coordination
team. </li>
<li>Selected presenters will be contacted by the Events Coordinator
to coordinate logistics and details. </li>
<li>Each presentation will be submitted in PDF by the presenter(s)
approximately 2 weeks prior to the event date. </li>
<li>The
audience at AfriNIC meetings is mainly composed of technical network
operators and engineers with a wide range of experience levels from
beginners to seasoned professionals. </li>

content are usually not encouraged at such meetings. </em><br>
