> The Nomination Committee 2025 (NomCom July 2025) is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for candidates in the 2025 election for AFRINIC Board of Directors. The Call for nominations for candidates is open from 14 to 28  August 2025.

> Seat One: North Africa;
> Seat Two: West Africa;
> Seat Three: Indian Ocean;
> Seat Four: Central Africa;
> Seat Five: Southern Africa;
> Seat Six: Eastern Africa;
> Seat Seven: Region-Independent;
> Seat Eight: Region-Independent.
> 
> Each seat can only be held by one candidate. A natural person residing in the above sub-regions and national of a country in the said sub-region, as stated, may be nominated for Seats 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. 
> A natural person residing in any of the above sub-regions and national of a country in any of the said sub-regions may be nominated for Seats 7 and 8.
> 
> Elected candidates will serve a term not exceeding (3) years only with respect to Seats 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
> 
> Elected candidates will serve a term not exceeding (3) years only with respect to Seats 7 and 8.
> The newly seated board must, at it its first order of business and within one month of being constituted, agree on an initial distribution of term lengths in order to implement the orderly rotation of Board seats required by the bylaws
> The above is in accordance with Articles 13.4, 13.5, 13.6 and 13.7 of the AFRINIC Bylaws.

> Le Comité de Nomination 2025 a le plaisir d'annoncer l'ouverture des candidatures pour l'élection 2025 du Conseil d'Administration d'AFRINIC. L'appel à candidatures est ouvert du 14 au 28 Août 2025.

> Les sièges disponibles au sein du Conseil d'Administration d'AFRINIC pour ces élections de 2025 sont les suivants :

> Siège Un : Afrique du Nord ;

Une personne physique résidant dans l'une des sous-régions susmentionnées et ressortissante d'un pays de l'une desdites sous-régions peut être nommée pour les sièges 7 et 8.

> Les candidats élus exerceront un mandat ne dépassant pas (3) ans  en ce qui concerne les sièges 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 et 6.Les candidats élus exerceront un mandat ne dépassant pas (3) ans  en ce qui concerne les sièges 7 et 8.

> Le nouveau conseil d'administration doit, lors de sa première réunion et dans un délai d'un mois après sa constitution, convenir d'une répartition initiale des durées de mandat afin de mettre en œuvre la rotation des sièges du conseil d'administration requise par les statuts.Ce qui précède est conforme aux articles 13.4, 13.5, 13.6 et 13.7 des statuts d’AFRINIC.
