We wish to apprise you of the recent NRO letter of support sent to ICANN regarding the governance challenges currently faced by AFRINIC. The NRO has stressed the importance of a free and fair board election that requires the active participation of the AFRINIC membership and community.

We fully support this proposal and will encourage our members and community to take note and participate to help get the organisation out of the current situation.
