Dear colleagues,

Following the appointment of Mr Patrisse Deesse as the Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO), AFRINIC is pleased to announce that Mr Nirmal Manic, the current Chief Accountant, will be the Acting Finance and Accounting Director effective 27 July 2019. Mr Deesse is the substantive Finance and Accounting Director, and will serve as the Interim CEO from 27 July 2019 until the position is filled. The two appointments follow the resignation of Mr Alan Barrett as CEO effective 26 July 2019.

Members are requested to accord Mr Deesse and Mr Manic the usual support and cooperation they need during the transition period. 

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Mr Deesse and Manic on their appointments and wish them success.
