[AFRINIC-Announce] Announcement for remote participation during AGMM 2018

[AFRINIC Communication]

Dear Colleagues,


We are pleased to announce participants are  able to participate remotely using Zoom during the AFRINIC Annual General Meeting to be held on 10 May 2018 as from 14h00 UTC. Here are the instructions to follow using this facility:



1.     Join the Zoom session using URL: https://zoom.us/j/164369342 <https://zoom.us/j/164369342>

2.     Input your name for the moderator to identify you

3.     You will be automatically muted

4.     Notify the moderator via chat (to everyone), then raise your hand (Raise hand button), the in-room moderator will unmute you when allow to speak and mute you when done.

5.     As for the floor, you will be able to speak in either English or French



The audio feed will be available in English only.  To listen in French you can follow us at http://streaming.afrinic.net/ <http://streaming.afrinic.net/>

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer que vous pourrez utiliser l’application Zoom pour participer en ligne  lors de l'assemblée générale annuelle d'AFRINIC qui se tiendra  le 10 mai 2018 à partir de 14.00 UTC. Ci-après les instructions :


1. Rejoignez la session Zoom en utilisant l'URL:

2. Entrez votre nom afin que le modérateur puisse vous identifier

3. Le son de votre microphone sera automatiquement coupé. 

4. Pour intervenir vocalement, avertissez le modérateur par chat, puis cliquer sur  ‘’Raise your hand’’ (le bouton ‘’Raise your hand’’), ensuite le modérateur dans la pièce vous autorisera à parler et une fois terminé le son de votre microphone sera à nouveau coupé. 

5. En vous adressant aux délégués, vous avez la possibilité de parler en anglais ou en français. Cependant le flux audio sera uniquement en anglais. Pour écouter l’interprétation en français, veillez aller sur  http://streaming.afrinic.net/ <http://streaming.afrinic.net/>
