[AfriNIC-announce] Renewal of AfriNIC's region Representative on the NRO-NC

Dear Colleagues,

The AfriNIC community will have to renew one of its seats
on the NRO Number Council for three years term (January 2009
to December 2011). The election will take place during the
upcoming AfriNIC Public Policy Meeting (AfriNIC-9) that is
taking place in Addis Ababa:

As per the ICANN ASO MoU, the elected person shall also act
as the ASO Address Council member representing our service
region.

The responsibility of the NRO-NC representative is outlined
in ASO MoU available at:

Individuals residing within the AfriNIC service region may be
nominated. Self-nominations are permitted. Nominations should
be sent to nomination2008 at afrinic.net with the following
