Sorry read too fast then.
Can you ask your ISP to forward proto-41 to your router ? at this way you can use a tunnel even behind a CGN.

No, it's not possible
- the use dynamic private IP
- and a pool of public IP on their CGN
Of course, this will only work if you’re the only ISP customer with the same shared public IPv4 ….
You can read some old documents about this:
https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-palet-v6ops-proto41-nat-03.txt
Otherwise, look for an alternative ISP.
Regards,
Jordi

Hi Mathias,
There are tunnels brokers that provide the way, such as HE, by means of dynamic DNS, etc.
If you use a router with OpenWRT, this is pretty easy, but it can be done also in many other ways.
Saludos,
Jordi

Asunto: Re: [AfrIPv6-Discuss] IPv6 at least from tunnel but it works
Great Work Willy
But one big question to you and community, all suggestions are welcome :
How can i deploy IPv6 on my local network when my ISP don't provide IPv6
network and don"t provide me public IPv4 ?
Thanks

Hi,
if some of you remember, i wrote last year about my first tests with
IPv6 [1] Some months later, I do not yet receive all the approval
needed to use native IPv6 but we are using dual-stack on some part of
our infrastructure (server and pc) .
I wrote a post [2] in french where I explained all my difficulties and
small success. I hope more networks in cameroon will do the same or
better than me.
I must say that, the most difficult here is to gain interest of people
(tech, admin guys). It's not a matter of money or policies at first.
Our ISP activate its v6 link because we said «we will not pay until
you respect our contract» . They did the first step; it's not entirely
done but I was happy .
If more people, organisations put pressure like that I'm sure IPv6 will
take off or at least, more people will take care of it.
I hope the next session of IPv6 training in Cameroon will not be an
«Yet another training» but they will be more concrete deployment. I
have already participated in more than 1 training and I have the duty
to do my best at my side to raise awareness on that matter.
That's was my 2 cents from a little end-user.
