*Les bases de la Gestion des Resources Internet (INRM) (1 Jour)*

A l'issue de l'atelier, les participants sauront :
[+] Décrire les problèmes liés à l’épuisement des adresses IPv4 et les
risques qu'ils posent pour l'évolution continue de l'Internet.
[+] Argumenter contre le système du NAT qui n'est pas une solution
efficace et durable pour freiner l’épuisement d'IPv4.
[+] Planifier efficacement leur besoins en adresses IPv4 et en faire une
demande appropriee auprès d'AFRINIC.
[+] Décrire le processus d'élaboration des règles de gestion et de
distribution des ressources IP, l' importance de ces règles et les
conditions de participation à ce processus.
[+] Décrire la structure de la base de données Whois.
[+] Identifier des objets clés de la base de données Whois et leurs
attributs.
[+] Créer et manipuler des objets de la base de données Whois.
[+] Modifier la base de données Whois selon les allocations de leurs
clients.
[+] Tester les nouvelles allocations d’adresses de leurs clients

*Comprendre et utiliser IPv6 (3 jours)*

A l'issue de l'atelier, les participants sauront :
[+] Concevoir un schéma directeur pour les adresses IPv6 dans leurs
organisations.
[+] Configurer IPv6 sur Windows/Mac et Linux.
[+] Configurer le routage IPv6 - statique , OSPFv3 et MP-BGP.
[+] Configurer les tunnels pour permettre aux sites IPv6 d'inter-
communiquer à travers un réseau configuré uniquement en IPv4.
[+] Trouver des solutions aux problèmes liés au déploiement d' IPv6 au
sein leurs organisations

Cette formation cible les Ingénieurs et administrateurs réseaux qui ont l'expérience de l'élaboration et du déploiement des réseaux IPv4. Les participants à l'atelier devront avoir une bonne compréhension des
sujets ci-après:
[+] Le modèle OSI et les protocoles qui opèrent à chaque niveau.
[+] Les adressages IPv4 et ‘subnetting’
[+] Le routage intra-domaine et OSPF.
[+] Les services de base de réseaux comme le DHCP et DNS .
[+] Comment utiliser les interfaces de commande en ligne sur des
plate-formes de routage clés (i.e. Cisco IOS).
Chaque participant devra être muni de son propre ordinateur portable
ayant les applications suivantes, deja installées :
{a} Virtualbox - un logiciel de virtualisation disponible gratuitement
sur <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads">http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads</a>
{b} Un client telnet et/ou SSH qui sera utilisé pour se connecter à des
équipements à distance. Si vous ne disposez pas encore de ces logiciels,

La participation à cet atelier est gratuite pour les candidats sélectionnés. Cependant la priorité sera toujours faite aux personnels des organisations membres d'AFRINIC.
Des rafraîchissements et le déjeuner seront servis pendant toute la durée de la formation.
Néamoins Il faut noter qu' AFRINIC ne prend pas en charge les frais de transport et d'hébergement des participants.

Nous vous informons qu'il n' y aura que 50 places disponibles. Par conséquent, les inscriptions seront automatiquement closes après l'enregistrement des 50 premiers inscrits ou bien à la date du 15 Avril

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to
▣ Describe the issues surrounding IPv4 depletion and the risks they pose
for the continued evolution of the Internet.
▣ Make a good case for why NAT is bad and not a sustainable solution to
the problem of IPv4 depletion.
▣ Plan their IP addressing needs and apply for the resources from AFRINIC.
▣ Describe the policy development process, its importance and how to
take part it it.
▣ Describe the structure of the Whois database and its importance.
▣ Identify the key objects of the Whois database and their attributes.
▣ Create and manipulate objects in the Whois database.
▣ Effect Whois database changes for allocations to customers.
▣ Test their new IP address allocations

Course Deliverables | Understanding and Deploying IPv6 | 3 Days

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
▣ Design an IPv6 address scheme for their organisations.
▣ Configure IPv6 on Windows/Mac and Linux desktop operating systems.
▣ Build a routed IPv6 network using both static routing and OSPFv3.
▣ Configure tunnelling techniques to allow v6-capable sites talk to
other v6 sites across a v4-only network.
▣ Brainstorm solutions to issues holding back IPv6 in their organisations.

Network engineers and systems administrators who understand how to design and build IPv4 networks. Participants must already understand topics like:
▣ The OSI model and the various protocols that operate at each layer.
▣ IPv4 addressing and subnetting.
▣ Intra-domain routing and OSPF.
▣ Fundamentals of Inter-domain routing with BGP
▣ Basic network services like DHCP and DNS.
▣ How to use the command line interfaces of key routing platforms (e.g
Cisco IOS)
