Dear Colleagues
AFRINIC, the Regional Internet Registry for Africa has just concluded a four (4) day training session on Internet Number Resources Management and IPv6 in Dakar, Senegal.
Running from the 19 to 22 August 2014, the training sessions were held at the ESNT and were led by Brice Abba of AFRINIC. This event falls under AFRINIC's training programme which aims to help network engineers in Africa better plan and manage Internet Number resources and IPv6 networks.
The course was attended by 20 network engineers, system adminitrators drawn from Internet Service organisations as well as government agencies and universities. We wish to extend our appreciation to the Ecole Superieure Nationale des Telecommunications - ESNT for hosting this event.
