*Developing a Pan-African Cybersecurity Framework -ICANN's Role in<br>
Harmonizing Policies*<br>
<br>
This topic will concentrate on the necessity for a cohesive Pan-African<br>
cybersecurity framework, with ICANN aiding in the standardization of<br>
policies across African nations. It will involve deliberations on<br>
establishing regional DNS security standards and fostering collaborative<br>
efforts to address specific cyber threats within the continent.<br>
<br>
*Harnessing Green Technologies for Sustainable Internet Infrastructure in<br>
Africa*<br>
<br>
This proposed subject matter will explore the significance of sustainable<br>
internet infrastructure and how ICANN can promote the utilization of green<br>
technologies, such as energy-efficient data centers and renewable energy<br>
sources, to uphold a more sustainable digital ecosystem in Africa.<br>
<br>
*Empowering African Youth through Internet Governance Education and<br>
Capacity Building*<br>
<br>
This proposal underscores the imperative to empower the next generation of<br>
African leaders in internet governance. It will focus on ICANN's potential<br>
role in delivering targeted education, mentorship, and capacity-building<br>
programs to ensure active youth participation in shaping Africa's internet<br>
landscape.<br>
<br>
I strongly believe that these topics are not only relevant but also<br>
essential for the continued advancement of the Internet in Africa. However,<br>
