<div>Greetings, on behalf of colleagues in the ICT fraternity in the Gambia and our Ministry of Information Communication and Infrastructure , The Gambia. I wish to inform you of the death of Mr Ebrima D, Jobe former director of ICT at the Ministry of Information
Communication and Infrastructure, The Gambia who passed on early this morning.<br>

<div>Mr Ebrima D. Jobe prior to his retirement, served the Gambia well in various areas pertinent to ICT and Internet Governance he was active in the WSIS Process both in 2003 and 2005 prior to the start of the IGF.He also took part in ICANN Africa 1st Strategy
process in Addis Ababa, he supported the establishment of the Gambia IGF from inception and was always ready to make a case for the Gambia on ICT in general.</div>

<div>Mr Ebrima D Jobe will be laid to rest this afternoon according to Muslim rites, we pray for his soul to rest in perfect peace.</div>

<div>A sad moment for us all, we shall endeavour to keep the ICT flag flying for the Gambia.</div>
