<div>En 2017, le Forum des Nations Unies sur les Données s'est tenu à Cape Town, en Afrique du Sud, avec comme objectif d'atteindre un large consensus sur la façon d'exploiter les données pour le développement durable. Aussi, un des titres du journal "The Economist"
: "La ressource la plus précieuse du monde n'est plus le pétrole, mais les données" a fait l’objet de plusieurs commentaires allant dans le sens de la nécessité d’une mise en place de nouvelles mesures réglementaires pour la gestion des données.<br>
Au demeurant, le Privacy Shield, les accusations de l’Union Européenne aux géants du net d’enfreindre les règles de la concurrence, le projet de Régime Général sur la Protection des Données en Europe ont fait l’essentiel des développements sur les données personnelles
en 2017.......</div>
