May I add a little bit to the Proverbs going on please?

I m coming out with the following as me and myself "Yassin Mshana of the Truth"..

There is a universal fact/ proverb that, "No one can hide the Truth ..the Truth will come out anyhow soon or later" You can hide and frustrate the Truth but it the Truth will grow out of anyhow...

The question is, "is there Truth and Good Faith in all this Saga or Is the Truth a bitter pill to swallow?"

There have been blatant 'lies' going around for 2 Years concerning the .africa. There have been unnecessary wrong moves to 'lie to Africans' by self serving individuals' who should own it up for the delay of .africa due to their covert and cabal approach. ..

It is an embarrassing situation to our Continent which still has resources left..

My Call is for the self selected Groups who advised the AUC to cease lies-fire and tow the line of Truth. They have deliberately 'mislead the Political wing of African Continent into an internationally embarrassing situation. They gave abused the Trust put on them and finally they have painted ICANN’s reputation with wrong colours. That means, African representation at the ICANN Board and in the well respected GAC Constituency have to polish the very important space they gave in the GAC by being knowledgenable with "ICANN transparent Processes"
Finally for fellow Africans....we should think about the people who we think represent Africa in the ICANN System and how they are 'picked' to represent Africa Region. It is Time for Change to bring New ideas and people since serving in ICANN should not be a life long career...we need new ideas from new people who are not privy to the ICANN Operations since we have to think Out if the Box... There is No Driving Test for ICANN representatives apart from good Leadership Test.

All with very good faith..

I am happy to be corrected but not diverted from the Truth.

Have a good Eid and Weekend as applicable.

Yassin

Although we may still be classified as one of the “bulls" in the Swahili saying, the members of this mailing list may benefit from our (ZACR) submissions to ICANN on the IRP Declaration. https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/correspondence/masilela-to-crocker-15jul15-en.pdf
The process of having .AFRICA delegated and launched for the benefit of the African community has indeed taken far too long. The following African proverbs present some ancient words of wisdom and encouragement in relation to .AFRICA. The end is sight and the rewards will be great!
> We have a saying in Swahili "fahali wawili wanapopigana, ni nyasi huumia". Loosely translated as "When two bulls fight, its the grass that suffers". In this case, the community is missing out in use of the important .africa string. For example, the East African community is forced to use eac.int while eac.africa would have sufficed. Of course there are other examples like ecowas.africa comesa.africa sadc.africa e.t.c.
> I think we should be every firm in castigating ICANN for not following due diligence in the .africa application. The transparency and accountability track should ensure there are mechanisms in place to avoid the scenario we are in from occurring again. The bill of the IRP process which is in excess of US $ 606,114 could have been put into better use.
