Just to do a domain name business… Very few. But all those requirements can be easily fulfill by an US based start-up simply because this works for the US economic and insurance environments.</span> <span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Georgia","serif";color:#44546A">One last thing the “commercial general liability insurance” has nothing to do with the “seriousness” of the company willing to become Accredited registrar. the request for insurance for registrars is a just reassurance that such registrar seeking accreditation etc is serious. So, I do not see why people should see that as barrier, but the truth remains that a few registrar invest in marketing/publicity of their businesses or kind of businesses.</p><p></p></div><p class="MsoNormal">A good example is what one registrar in Nigeria - Upperlink did with its license; running publicity campaign. I hope that should be a lesson to others.
